Short-Term Running Goals:

In the next two years I'd like to qualify
for the 'Boston Marathon'.

I have a crazy dream to qualify for
the olympic games... but understand it's
very hard to do... so am not sure
if it's attainable... or what it would
take... I know there are a lot of fast
runners out there:D

In the next 6 months I'd like to try and
beat my personal best of: 3:34:56 in the
marathon.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Qualifying for the Olympic Games. Without a doubt would

be a lifetime achievement.

Finally!  My sports doctor (Ben Tan) finally gave me the ok to start running again (after seeing the new xray) ...So I joined Team Fatbird...and ran 10km in 48:18... 1st time running after almost 3months off:)  ...was pleased with my time... although, I do feel a little sore in my legs now.

Swam 100 laps of G'Force gym in: 45:00.  During lunch hr.

 After work I decided to go for one last long run (before the HK marathon at the end of the week).  I overdid it, though... and ran  26km in 2:39:23.  I ran it with no energy drink and only water, and so almost past out before I got back... the reason I keep running was because my key was left in the gym... and I had to get back before 9pm to pick up my gear (which has everything in them... house key, wallet etc.)... So I thank God I made it back in one peace... although I did end up throwing up afterwards when I tried to eat something...so I've learned my lesson about pushing too hard, too early...

Yay, ran the Hong Kong Marathon in a time of:  3:55:51:)

Really happy with the time... considering I had only 3 weeks to prepare for this.  I got one blister in the run... quite a scenic run (interesting)...

I think starting off slow and speeding up near the end helped a lot.
